The beloved ball

Our downstairs neighbor gave Kai a soccer ball to "encourage him to run" - not sure what he was thinking - the little guy doesn't need any prompting for that and now he hears the pitter-patter of little feet much more as we play our version of indoor football. The ball is actually multi-purpose - acting not only as a toy but also a stuffed animal/blanket - we have to give it to Kai before he goes to sleep lest he lose it. He basically curls up around it and crashes at night - pretty darn cute...

Fun with water

Well, spring has definately sprung here in Belgrade and the 75+ degree days bring with it fountains - fountains in almost every park in the city. Apparently water has an attraction that Kai can't resist - he makes for them at a run every time he gets within a 100 yards and tried to jump in. This is the kid who all of a sudden can't stand to take a bath, hmmm....

Vacation that was actually a vacation!

We took a couple days over the Easter holiday to travel "up north" to the Serb/Hungarian border and Palic (pronounced Palich) for a little break from city life. A couple of our frineds went with us with their daugther Lillian who is about 2 months younger than K-man. As you can see he liked her - lots of very cute kissing/hugging goin' on. This was the first time that we actually had a "relaxing" vacation with the little man as well - he was a dream the entire time in both his sleeping and awake states - something that hasn't really happened before in the past. Funny, just as we get our first to the point of being more or less manageable we have a second one only months away :) Oh, by the way, its a girl! I threw in a few more random shots for ya'll - Kai's well on his way to becoming a basketball star among other things...
