Christmas with the family!

We had a wonderful time with Inta, Bruce, Juris, Peter and Allison at Christmas this year. What a difference having family in town makes during the holiday season. More photos to come but from the ones posted here you can already see they had a wonderful time with the kids. Kai and Evanelle practically jumped out of their skins every time "cousins" walked in the door and were bummed to see them leave today. All in all I think everyone had a wondrous (if incredibly hot) time!

Vacation!

We actually got a chance to slip away before Christmas thanks to a generous gift from Amy's father of a week in a Phuket condo. The kids had a blast (as you can see) and loved the daily routine of swimming, playing, eating repeat. The parents and Carme also like the break from Cambodia. Relatives are in town for Christmas so we should have some more pictures soon!

Too many photos and too little time - basically these cover the Christmas bazaar, start of the rice harvest (the fields), Carter's visit to Cambodia for a Habitat project, our new pool in the front yard, a trip to Angkor to cover our temple rebuilding effort there and Kai's lovely fake smile :)
