PhnomPenh
Hi all - obviously we're sorry that the updates have been slow in coming. I looked the date of the last post and saw it was the end of May - it's amazing how long it takes to pack up, move halfway across the world, get Internet, etc. - in any case, although most of our stuff is still on a boat heading for singapore we do have enough to start adding pictures to the site again. So far PP has been great - lots of stuff for little kids to do including restaurants with huge play areas, sand boxes and so forth. Seems like everyone has at least one child under 5 here which has been great for Kai and Eva. The former has also started school which he enjoys, at least for an hour or so - then he just wants mommy. It's only been a week now, we'll give it some more time before posting Mom there permanantly :) Here's some of our pictures - we'll have more as soon as I can kick Kai off the computer! The one of me is at a local Islamic NGO that trains both Khmer and Cham (Khmer Islam) how to sew - as in for garment factories - a pretty good job here. The others are of the kids "helping" to wash my moto - our main form of transportation here. Needless to say we get quite a few looks on our way to work with Amy all dressed up riding side saddle in the back :)
